It’s almost summer vacation time! Do you have your Jersey Shore house booked? Well here is a little reminder about why you should visit Seaside Heights this summer whether it is for a day, the week or longer, you won’t believe what is going on in Seaside! The town has come a long way from the havoc and devastation caused by Sandy. Plans are in the works for a new roller coaster, the owner of Funtown Pier is seeking height variances to bring monster rides to the Boardwalk and this summer will be no disappointment either.
This summer Casino Pier has added the ‘Shore Shot’ a gravity defying thrill ride that rapidly propels riders 125 feet up in the air at speeds up to 45 mph and then sends them plunging back down at great speed! Not only that, but Breakwater Beach is introducing a longer go cart track with more twists and turns, a 36 inch mini golf course, a new wave pool AND two new massive 70 foot water slides. Not impressed? How about Grammy award winning Mumford and Sons headlining one of only 4 stops on their Gentleman of the Road tour in the US in 2015.

This group works tirelessly to care for the cat colony that lives in Seaside. Whether you like cats or not, you have to admit that it is admirable to care for animals in need!
Live bands & concerts
In 2015 Mumford and Sons headlined a major tour stop in Seaside and the music doesn’t stop there – every night through out the summer, you can find live bands playing someplace in Seaside from the Flying Mueller Brothers to an Elvis impersonator, there is something for everyone.
FREE events
EVERY night of the week during the summer. Monday’s bonfire on the Beach, Tuesday’s Movies on the beach, Wednesday’s fireworks, and family Olympics on the beach, throwback Thursday live concerts, Limelight Friday concerts and Sunday’s movies on the beach. Kohr’s Frozen Custard

The 100+ year old historic Dr. Floyd L. Moreland Dentzel-Looff Carousel.
Lovingly hand restored this original hand carved carousel is one of only approximately 150 vintage carousels still in operation in the United States. And at about 25 feet tall, 54 feet wide and 51,000 pounds – and featuring a Wurlitzer Military Band Organ in its center.
Sky ride
This popular feature stretches from Casino Pier all the way to the end of the end of the north beach and back. The views from a top this slow moving relaxing ride are amazing and stretch on for miles!
The mile long Boardwalk
The Boardwalk is an event in and of itself – offering something different each time you walk up and down it. From the quiet transcending early morning walks and sunrise to the chaotic bright lights and sounds of a weekend evening on the pier.
