A Premier Luxury Beach Rental In Seaside Heights

Finding a rental in Seaside Heights that actually works for a family — not just sleeps one — takes some doing. We know because we spent years looking before we bought this place, and still do every time we go on vacation. Four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, an elevator, three balconies, a rooftop deck, and a community pool. Steps from the ocean. Eight beach badges included. And parking for three cars, which in Seaside Heights in July is genuinely not something to take for granted.

This is Unit 18 at Shoreside Village. We have owned this townhouse since 2012, and the place we’ve rented to families every summer since. We’re not a management company. We’re the owners, we answer the phone, and we care whether your week goes well. If you’re looking for a rental in Seaside Heights that’s been maintained by someone who actually uses it — this is it.

What Makes This Rental in Seaside Heights Different

A lot of Seaside Heights house rentals look fine in photos and feel cramped when twelve people try to use the kitchen at once. We designed this unit so that doesn’t happen.

The main living floor has an open layout with a dining table that seats eight, a kitchen with a granite island and eight bar stools, and a 65″ TV in the living room. The balcony off the living room faces the ocean and the boardwalk. You’ll spend a lot of time out there, especially in the morning with coffee.

The kitchen is fully stocked. We’re talking sheet pans, a good knife block, a coffee maker, a blender. You don’t have to hit the grocery store the first night for basics. The Acme on Route 37 is your closest full-size option, and it’s a little pricier than your home grocery store — so we recommend bringing pantry staples with you and stocking up on perishables once you’re here.

One thing we hear from guests every year: they didn’t expect how much space there is. Five levels, elevator access on every floor, and enough bathrooms that the morning rush never actually feels like a rush.

On top of all that, no other rental in Seaside Heights is as child friendly as we are. With retractable baby gates on all stairs and other amenities like a stroller and pack and plays, you will be amazed at how little you will need to bring with you.

Kahuna Key — 3rd Floor Of Our Rental In Seaside Heights

As you walk up to the next level, which we like to call Kahuna Key, you will find two of our 4 bedrooms. As you turn left, the bedroom in front of you will be the smaller of the two rooms. This room has a balcony with great ocean views. When you are not enjoying the view, you can relax in one of the two beds in the room. A queen for the parents and a twin for one of the kids. Plus, this room is still big enough to have a pack and play or a toddler bed as well. With an LCD TV and its own bathroom, you will love this room.

The rear master on this floor has two queens, a daybed with trundle, and two fold-away twins tucked in the closet — so this room alone can sleep six if it needs to. Facing the pool, this room is a bit quieter than the front room.

Both rooms have white noise alarm clocks, which sounds like a small thing until you have a toddler who can finally nap through boardwalk noise.

Anchors Way — 4th Floor in Our Seaside Heights House Rental

The 4th floor, also known as Anchors Way, is where you will find the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. A similar layout to the 3rd floor, the bedroom in the front of the beach rental has a queen bed and a spectacular ocean view. This room has a glider and enough room for a pack and play, the bassinette or the toddler bed we have in the unit. Like the other rooms, this one has an LCD TV as well as its own bathroom.

The master bedroom on this floor has a king bed and the largest bathroom. The vanity has gorgeous granite as well as double sinks. There is also a full tub and plenty of space to spread out all your toiletries! Back in the bedroom, take in the view of the pool or work on our beautiful writer’s desk. Too tired to work? Relax in bed and watch the 55″ LCD TV. This room is also plenty big enough to add any of the extra sleeping options we have in the townhouse.

Pool and Roof

As one of the tallest rentals in Seaside Heights, you can go all the way to the 5th floor! Here you will find a private roof top deck. With views of the bay and partial views of the ocean, sitting up on this private roof terrace, all the sounds of Seaside will fade away. Every Wednesday enjoy the fireworks from the best Seaside Heights house rental in town! Hang out at our in comfort.

Shared by all members of the community, the pool is usually open 9am to 7pm every day. When the pool is open, you can relax and hang out on a lounge chair or at one of the tables!

Logistics That Actually Matter

Here’s what’s included in every week’s stay at our rental in Seaside Heights:

Eight beach badges. In Seaside Heights, beach badges are required for everyone 13 and older. In 2026, daily badges are $13, weekly are $50, and seasonal are $75. Having eight already included covers most families without any additional cost. If your group is bigger, you can buy additional badges at the beach entrance. No hunting for the badge office on your first morning.

Three parking spots. This is a bigger deal than it sounds. Street parking in Seaside Heights during peak season is competitive. Having two dedicated spots in a gated community, and one street spot (which is not dedicated) means you park once on Saturday and your car doesn’t move until the following Saturday. That’s the vacation right there.

Washer and dryer. On the entry level. Essential for a week-long stay, especially with kids. You can re-pack the same beach towels every day without bringing a suitcase full of extras.

Beach gear. Chairs, crab pots, sand toys — all in the garage. They’re yours for the week. Take them, use them, return them sandy. That’s what they’re there for.

The Location — What “Steps from the Boardwalk” Actually Means

We’re in Shoreside Village, a gated community at 21 Blaine Ave. Walk out the front gate and you cross one street to reach the boardwalk. That’s it, a rental in Seaside Heights doesn’t get any closer to the beach. No multi-block haul in the sand with a wagon full of chairs and a cooler. You cross the street.

Casino Pier is to your right as you come out. The beach entrance is right there. On Wednesday nights, the fireworks go off from the pier — and from our rooftop deck, you have one of the best views in town.

The boardwalk itself is a mix of rides, arcades, pizza, and more. Our guide to things to do in Seaside Heights covers it in detail, but the short version: you could spend an entire vacation without leaving the boardwalk and your kids would be fine with that.

When to Book a Rental in Seaside Heights

Peak season runs Saturday to Saturday, late June through late August. If you have flexibility, here’s what we tell families who ask:

Late June is the sweet spot if you have younger kids. Crowds are lighter, the weather is already summer-warm, and the boardwalk isn’t at full tilt yet. Ocean water is still on the cool side — not cold, but don’t expect August temperatures.

Early and mid-July is peak of peak. The boardwalk is packed, the beach is crowded, and you’ll want to arrive early for a good spot. That said, it’s also when Seaside is most alive — fireworks every Wednesday, events most weekends, the arcades and rides going full speed. If your kids are old enough to love the energy, this is their week.

Late August — specifically that last full week before Labor Day — is our personal favorite. Pennsylvania schools are back, the crowds thin out noticeably, the ocean water is at its warmest, and the weather is usually the most reliable of the summer. Families who’ve rented with us more than once often land on this week and don’t give it up.

Whatever week you’re eyeing, don’t wait. Every rental in Seaside Heights that has repeat guests fills from the inside out — returning families grab their weeks first, and what’s left goes fast once it’s posted.

A Note on Who This Rental Is — and Isn’t — For

We have a 30+ age requirement. No exceptions, no prom groups, no bachelorette weekends. We mean no disrespect by it — Seaside Heights in summer draws every kind of visitor, and the boardwalk has plenty of options for everyone. But this rental in Seaside Heights is designed for families, and the guests who return year after year are families.

We also don’t allow dogs. Again — it’s not personal. It’s that the unit has light-colored upholstery and six years of repeat guests who’ve kept it in good shape. We’d like to keep it that way.

What you get instead: a property that’s clean, stocked, and managed by someone who’s been hosting at this address since 2012 and answers her phone. Every year, most of our guests rebook before they leave. That says more than any listing description could.
