Restaurants in Seaside Park NJ

On The Boardwalk in Seaside Park
If you are looking for a lively environment close to arcades and shopping, then you will want to visit a restaurant on the Boardwalk. A handful of restaurants are clustered right on the South end of the Boardwalk (North end of Seaside Park)! Beware, with the crowds usually comes a wait. The Sawmill can often have a wait over an hour long, and they do not take reservations.
Restaurants in South Seaside Park
At the South end of Seaside Park, right before the entrance to Island Beach State Park, you will find a cluster of great restaurants. Each restaurant has a little something different to offer.
In the middle of summer all of these places tend to get really busy, and completely booked. If you can, I would strongly recommend making a reservation at least a couple of weeks in advance.
Ebby’s Ristorante and Lounge offers a traditional homemade Italian menu. Very kid friendly, they do take reservations and offer live music, even during the winter months.
Island Beach Fish Company is still a new addition to SSP and offers a limited menu. It is dog friendly and has a large outdoor area. Mahi tacos get great reviews, pizza not so much, and the service is continually reviewed as horrible.
Berkeley Cut Steakhouse is probably the most upscale restaurant you will find at this end of the Barrier Islands. As the name implies, it is a steakhouse, but be prepared for a hefty bill. I would not take children here. They do take reservations, and you can order takeout online.
Chef Mike’s Atlantic Bar & Grill is owned by the most renowned chef at the Jersey Shore, chef Mike Jurusz. The menu is not extensive but does have a little something for everyone, and they take reservations. Definitely make them weeks (maybe a month) in advance if you plan to go on a weekend in the summer.
Bum Rogers Crabhouse is a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a night out with friends eating seafood and drinking beer. During the summer they have live music.
Mad Fish Company is not technically at the South end of Seaside Park, it is more in the middle, but we are going to talk about it here anyway! Very small menu and is largely seafood platters, they do take reservations, and, super big plus it is a BYOB.
