The Sawmill can often have a wait over an hour long, and they do not take reservations.
The Sawmill Cafe is a great spot for lunch or dinner. They have a large menu with lots of options, but, they are widely known for their huge slices of pizza. Menu
Beach Tacos! A little known secret about Beach Tacos is the incredible view from the top floor. After you order your food make your way up to the roof, you won’t be disappointed. Menu
Three Brothers from Italy is also on the boardwalk, but I would not really consider it a restaurant. This is more of a walk up joint.
It’s a great spot if you want a quick bite, are just coming off the beach, or are in the mood for a few different slices of pizza. Menu

Island Beach Fish Company is still a new addition to SSP and offers a limited menu. It is dog friendly and has a large outdoor area. Mahi tacos get great reviews, pizza not so much, and the service is continually reviewed as horrible. Menu
Berkeley Cut Steakhouse is probably the most upscale restaurant you will find at this end of the Barrier Islands. As the name implies, it is a steakhouse, but be prepared for a hefty bill. I would not take children here. They do take reservations, and you can order takeout online. Menu
Chef Mike’s Atlantic Bar & Grill is owned by the most renowned chef at the Jersey Shore, chef Mike Jurusz. The menu is not extensive but does have a little something for everyone, and they take reservations. Definitely make them weeks (maybe a month) in advance if you plan to go on a weekend in the summer. Menu
Bum Rogers Crabhouse is a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a night out with friends eating seafood and drinking beer. During the summer they have live music. Menu
